RADIOLOGY ASSISTANT

Radiology Front Desk Clerk Performs front desk duties in a multidisciplined radiology department, such as scheduling procedures, greeting patients, answering phones, verifying and inputting orders. Must be able to work non-standard hours, sometimes in excess of 40 hours per week. Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience: Six months to one year related experience required and experience in a Radiology department preferred. Experience with work flow, ordering, patient experience is also preferred. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility. Other Requirements: Working knowledge of CPSI, Carestream RIS and PACS preferred. This position requires constant standing, walking, pushing and pulling 0#100 lbs, as well as, frequent use of hands and fingers and lifting and carrying 0 to over 100 pounds.
