TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Fort Worth, Texas, 76104!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 09:00 - 21:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: None required, but ACLS is preferred Must-Have: - Experience in ICU or PACU Description: Call needs: One night a week and two weekends in a 13-week contract. Cannot approve block scheduling. Varied shift times: 10:00 - 22:00, some 09:00 - 21:00. Unit Information: Number of Beds: 26 Type of Staff: Day shift includes a charge nurse and usually a float nurse. Night shift is closed, with 2 PACU nurses on call. Patient Ratios are 1:2. Type of Equipment: EMR - Meditech. Typical hiring profile includes candidates with ICU or PACU experience. Preferred skills: Experience with general, neuro, oncology, orthopedics, vascular surgical procedures. Best personality fit: Easy-going and pleasant individuals. Floating Area(s): Day Surgery. Dress Code: Royal Blue or Client Scrubs. Unit Guidelines/Policies: Follow ASPAN Guidelines. On-call only needed for weekends. Additional Information: State-of-the-art equipment is available. The staff is experienced and supportive.
