Position Summary:

ACU has an exciting opportunity for a Plastics Specialist to join our Finance Department in Ashland, KY . This position performs tasks necessary to deliver high quality service to members and staff regarding issues related to Ashland Credit Union credit and debit cards.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver service in alignment with ACU's Service Standards, Policies and Procedures.
• Assist members and frontline staff with issues related to credit cards and debit cards.
• Daily balancing of credit card processing reports and related general ledger accounts, as well as preparation of journal entries to record settlement activity.
• Process approved credit card applications, including all maintenance or updates to these accounts, such as address changes, replacement cards, and account closures.
• Research member inquiries regarding credit card and debit card theft, loss, fraud, account statements, disputes, and monetary adjustments.
• Process member credit card payments, balance transfers, and CU Rewards points redemptions.
• Safeguard member accounts and ACU by actively monitoring credit transactions for fraud and/or other suspicious activity daily.
• Assist with Visa projects and promotions by completing and submitting all required paperwork.
• Other duties as requested by the President, EVP or manager.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Prior Financial Institution experience preferred
• Basic Accounting knowledge a plus
