Construction Foreman

Job Responsibilities for the Construction Foreman:

• Subcontractor Management: Schedule and direct trades (e.g., framing, plumbing, electrical), ensuring adequate manpower is on-site daily.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets blueprints, specifications, and local building codes.
• Provide field support for project management team to ensure that all projects run smooth, on time and on budget
• Safety Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations, run daily safety huddles, and maintain a clean, secure job site.
• Schedule & Budget: Maintain project timelines, sequence deliveries of building materials, and monitor resource allocation.
• Client & Team Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for project managers, providing regular progress updates.

Qualifications for the Construction Foreman:

• Experience: Typically 3-5 years of experience in residential construction management or as a lead foreman.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools, ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, and a working understanding of home building systems.
• Certifications: OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Certification is highly preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift heavy materials, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Requirements: A valid driver's license, reliable transportation to travel between job sites in the Albuquerque area, and frequently your own set of basic hand tools.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of residential building codes, structural framing, and blueprint reading.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software like, Buildertrend.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional conflict resolution, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected on-site delays

Compensation for the Construction Foreman:

$20-$25 Hourly
