Integrated Product Teal Lead (IPTL) (Onsite)

Overview

Senior Principal Engineer – Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for a development program, onsite in Goleta, CA. The IPTL will lead program execution, coordinate with engineering leadership, and drive delivery of systems that meet performance, schedule, and cost objectives. The role requires proactive collaboration across the program and with customer stakeholders. What You Will Do

Meet contractual commitments including financial, technical, and schedule performance of assigned program(s) within contractual boundaries and company expectations. Report business metrics to program and functional leadership including Estimates At Complete (EAC). Provide technical execution leadership to design, develop, integrate, test, verify, qualify, and deliver a system that complies with performance requirements. Communicate program status, accomplishments, issues, and needs to Raytheon leadership and the customer community. As a member of the Program Leadership Team, contribute to developing and aligning on a common program vision and execution strategies. Actively identify, manage, and mitigate risks or capture opportunities. Provide mentoring and guidance to team members. Travel as necessary to support the program (approximately 10%). Responsibilities

Lead program execution in accordance with contractual requirements and ensure subsystem requirements are achieved. Maintain and strengthen customer and industry partner/supplier relationships in a complex environment. Work daily with the engineering team to drive execution, maintain milestone focus, and manage priority of competing demands. Qualifications – Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Experience in Program Management and/or IPT execution within the Defense Industry. Experience leading cross-functional teams in Defense that include two or more disciplines (e.g., Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, Manufacturing/Operations, Quality Management, and/or administrative functions). Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP)/Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), or Risk and Opportunity Management. Active and transferable Secret U.S. government security clearance required prior to start; ability to obtain special program access after start. U.S. citizenship required. Qualifications – Preferred

Experience leading development and maintenance activities across multiple program sites. Experience with Supplier Management. Experience leading Systems, Hardware or Software Engineering Teams. Experience with Agile lifecycle management tools (preferably Jira). Excellent presentation and proposal skills. Experience in the Electronic Warfare domain. Locations and Role Type
