Key Responsibilities: As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in improving patient outcomes through advanced respiratory care. You will be responsible for the following:
- Deliver cutting-edge treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol medication, and bronchial hygiene techniques.
- Continuously monitor and adjust respiratory care plans based on vital signs, oxygen levels, and blood gas analysis.
- Manage and operate life-support equipment such as mechanical ventilators.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to assess lung function and determine the level of respiratory impairment.
- Respond rapidly to respiratory emergencies with expert resuscitative care, medication, and airway management.
- Licensure:
- Current unrestricted license to practice in Colorado or eligibility to obtain by start date.
- Certifications:
- NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of clinical experience, working with a diverse patient population.
- Neo-natal experience is strongly preferred.
