Senior Manager, Data Analytics

Job Summary Responsible for managing the analytic team efforts to develop repeatable reports and dashboards that enable internal clients to make data-driven decisions. Implement strategies that result in measurable financial returns to the business. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Oversees development and implementation of self-service business intelligence solutions; works with IT and business users to shape the BI vision and optimize data infrastructure. Develops analytical frameworks, roadmaps, and metrics for the team and the broader organization. Works closely with the data management team to implement centralized data warehousing solutions and assists with design and build of data cubes for reporting to deliver consistent information across the business. Tests, analyzes, and resolves data issues to ensure data integrity and provides technical support for end users of self-service BI tools. Develops complex reports, dashboards, and scorecards, as well as reporting and analysis for all business areas and program performance to drive results and inform BI decisions. Collaborates with sales, marketing, call center, and strategy teams to target insights and customer behavioral data. Provides support to multiple departments to ensure BI, analytic, and reporting needs are met with technology, architecture, processes, and tools. Manages project communications between departments, enforces scheduled deliverables, relays revision requests, records progress, and addresses obstacles as they arise. Nature and Scope Solutions require analysis and investigation. Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend or make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact and carry consequences in case of unsuccessful endeavors. Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff. Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time spent sitting in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions may need to move or lift light articles. Typically requires overnight travel 20% to 50% of the time. Education and Experience Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. An advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
