Location: Tampa Bay Area, Florida

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Representative to develop and grow our commercial bakery business throughout the Tampa Bay area.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, foodservice, bakery, restaurant, grocery, hospitality, or wholesale distribution and enjoy building long-term relationships with customers. This position will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, presenting bakery products, taking orders, and achieving sales and revenue goals.

Fluency in English and Spanish is highly valued due to the diverse customer base throughout the Tampa market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new commercial bakery accounts throughout the Tampa Bay territory.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurants, cafés, hotels, caterers, grocery stores, distributors, and other foodservice customers.
• Prospect for new customers through cold calling, networking, referrals, visits, and other sales activities.
• Present and recommend bakery products based on each customer's needs.
• Conduct product tastings, demonstrations, and sales presentations.
• Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities to increase sales and product penetration.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and customer pricing as needed.
• Take and follow up on customer orders and inquiries.
• Work closely with production, delivery, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor customer accounts, sales activity, pricing, and outstanding issues.
• Maintain accurate customer information and sales activity in the CRM or company sales system.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, and customer needs within the Tampa territory.
• Represent the bakery professionally at customer meetings, trade events, and industry functions.
• Communicate effectively with customers in both English and Spanish .

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills preferred.
• 2+ years of B2B, outside sales, foodservice, bakery, restaurant, hospitality, grocery, or distribution sales experience preferred.
• Proven ability to develop new business and grow existing accounts.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong customer-service and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable making cold calls and conducting in-person customer visits.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel throughout the Tampa Bay service area.
