Location Jerry's Foods Hudson Reporting Reports to Deli Manager Classification Part Time Pay Union Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $19.25 / hour, based on experience Hours Sunday – Saturday, varied hours Benefits Store Discount, Employee Assistance Programs, Flexible Schedule, Possibility of earning an additional $3.00 / hour if you have open availability Responsibilities Make lasting connections with our customers Prepare deli products including a variety of meats and cheeses (you may have to handle pork) Fill and rotate cases and display (may be some heavy lifting-up to 50lbs) Help maintain a clean and sanitary store Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department Be a part of a dedicated team that enjoys their job, arrives promptly for shifts, and works as scheduled Preferred Qualifications Is friendly and outgoing and promotes customer service for the entire team Knows about meats, cheeses, salads and good food Attended Food Safety training Motivated to grow their career and continue learning Physical Requirements Frequent: Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs, pushing/pulling 500 to 1500 pounds, walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting Equipment operation: scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, pallet jack, highboy cart, box cutter, tongs, steamer, slicer, wrapper, knives, roaster, chicken fryer, chicken hot case, pizza oven, coffee pot, cleaning utensils Mental: judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction, memorization, reading, writing, math Environmental exposure to hot and cold temperatures, hot equipment and cooking oil Occasional: Lifting/carrying over 50 lbs, crawling; approximately less than 15% of the work shift or fewer than 10 repetitions per work shift Equal Employment Opportunity In accordance with all requirements of federal, state, and local law, Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
