- 10+ years of professional experience in data science or advanced analytics.
- Proven ability to apply data mining, statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to large datasets.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, and associated data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch) as well as SQL/NoSQL tools and workflows.
- Experience with designing and maintaining data pipelines, ETL processes, and reproducible model validation frameworks.
- Demonstrated understanding of statistical methods, mathematical reasoning, and model performance evaluation.
- Familiarity with enterprise data platforms, cloud-based analytics, and operational data systems in government/DoD settings.
- Experience with operations research methodologies or conducting mission-related analytical trade studies.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to effectively deliver insights to diverse audiences, including technical teams, leadership, and government stakeholders.
- Experience working within DoD/Navy environments and with strict security and data-governance constraints.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with DoD/Navy mission-related analytics in areas such as electronic warfare (EW), tactical operations, or advanced systems assessments.
- Experience building operational dashboards, conducting trade studies, or implementing mission-focused data analytics solutions.
- Proficiency in modern visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, ggplot).
- Knowledge of secure data-handling practices and compliance requirements in DoD environments (e.g., RMF guidelines).
