Responsibilities:

• Perform direct physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following established care plans and physician orders.
• Ensure continuity and quality of care per State Practice Act guidelines.
• Document patient progress and report changes in status to supervising Physical Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers in the use of assistive devices and home exercise programs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of clinical care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum 6 months of experience preferred.
• Ability to travel within assigned coverage area; 50% travel expected.
• Valid driver's license, dependable vehicle, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift or transfer up to 50 pounds.
