Details Ortho/Neuro unit within a hospital setting 36-bed unit staffed with charge RN, RNs, PCTs, and secretary support Patient ratio of 6:1 Uses Alaris IV pumps and wound vac equipment Meditech EMR used on the unit Night shift schedule, 7p-7a Weekend requirement of 2 shifts per month No on-call requirements Requirements Active MO or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required 1 year of recent experience in Ortho/Neuro specialty required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Two professional references required for MO placements US SSN and DOB required for consideration Additional Information Provide direct patient care to orthopedic and neurological patient populations Charcoal grey scrubs required; hoodies and sweatshirts not permitted Unit recognizes staff monthly through a Med/Surg Spotlight award Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted First-time travelers will be considered for this role American Traveler Job ID P-738137.
