Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced .NET Backend API Developer to join a high-impact enterprise technology initiative focused on backend API development and system integrations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing scalable REST APIs using .NET , designing integration solutions, and evaluating infrastructure requirements for API gateway environments. This is primarily a greenfield development opportunity, with approximately 90% of the work focused on new development and 10% supporting and enhancing existing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using .NET .
• Develop scalable and secure RESTful APIs for enterprise integrations.
• Contribute to integration architecture and technical solution design.
• Evaluate infrastructure and technical requirements for API gateway environments .
• Participate in approximately 90% greenfield development and 10% enhancement/support of existing applications.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
• Work effectively in environments with evolving requirements and incomplete documentation.
• Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Follow software development best practices, coding standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Extensive professional experience in .NET development .
• Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs .
• Solid understanding of API integration and integration architecture .
• Experience evaluating infrastructure requirements for API gateway environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical challenges.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments with limited or evolving documentation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Persistence and ability to drive issues through to resolution.
