Registered Nurse (RN) Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN Opportunities Available!

Golden San Andreas Care Center is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will provide nursing care to a group of residents throughout your assigned shift while ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being.

We are looking for nurses who take pride in providing quality care, working collaboratively with the nursing team, and creating a positive experience for our residents.

• Provide and oversee nursing care for residents throughout your assigned shift.

• Make regular rounds to monitor resident conditions and ensure nursing personnel are completing assigned duties according to established standards of care.

• Give and receive thorough nursing reports at the beginning and end of each shift.

• Review resident care plans daily and ensure care is provided appropriately.

• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly notify the Director of Nursing or Resident Care Manager as appropriate.

• Receive and transcribe physician orders into resident charts, care plans, Kardex, MARs, and treatment records as required.

• Prepare and administer medications and perform treatments as ordered by the physician.

• Accurately document resident care and other required information in accordance with Medicare, Medicaid, and company standards.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout resident care areas, treatment areas, medication rooms, and nursing stations.

• Monitor nursing supplies and order or request additional supplies as needed.

• Count controlled medications with the oncoming or outgoing nurse at shift change and report any discrepancies immediately.

• Maintain the security of medications, medication carts, medication rooms, and keys in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Follow all company policies and procedures and practice in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act.

• Protect resident privacy and confidential health information by following HIPAA requirements.

• Support and supervise nursing personnel in providing safe, high-quality resident care.

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

• New graduates are welcome to apply!

• Training or experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.

• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing skilled nursing facilities.

• Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment skills.
