Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | 14-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing in a 14-bed ICU with a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Manage medical patients presenting with diagnoses including ARDS, alcohol withdrawal, acute respiratory distress, COPD, GI bleed, drug overdose, and COVID
• Care for occasional post-surgical patients including carotid, VATS, and CEA procedures
• Perform interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Monitor and manage Pulmonary Artery Lines/Swan Ganz catheters, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, arterial lines, chest tubes, and vasopressors
• Participate as part of the code team and rapid response team

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Telemetry experience including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with vented patients, vasopressors, arterial lines, and chest tubes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR
• Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care setting
