Quality Inspector (3rd Shift)

Sterling Heights, MI. $16.50 an hour Shift: 10:00 pm - 6 am Sunday to Thursday, (weekends and overtime can be mandatory)

Scope of the Quality Inspector Position

General visual inspection of parts (possible lifting up to 40lbs.)

Summary of the Quality Inspector

Inspect parts per written instruction supplied by customer or CER Management as effectively and efficiently as possible

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector

• Inspects designated materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual or dimensional inspection; rejecting and recording unacceptable materials
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations

Education and Experience of the Quality Inspector

• High School Diploma / GED preferred
• Previous inspection experience preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to stand for long hours
• Able to read and write
