Probate Paralegal
Temporary with possible Temp-to-Hire Potential
Boutique Law Firm | Coconut Grove, Florida

A well-established and growing boutique law firm in Coconut Grove is seeking an experienced Probate Paralegal to join its team. This opportunity is available due to the firm's current paralegal taking maternity leave, and the firm is looking for someone who can begin within the next few weeks to allow for a smooth transition and training period.

While this is initially a temporary assignment, the firm has recently added an attorney and continues to grow, so there is potential that if the fit is right, the position could lead to something permanent.

This is a boutique law firm that offers a collaborative, professional work environment, convenient onsite parking, and the opportunity to become an integral part of a respected practice.

Responsibilities

Support attorneys with administrative probate matters from opening through closing
Prepare probate pleadings, correspondence, and court filings
E-file documents with Florida courts in all South Florida Counties
Maintain and organize electronic client files using NetDocs
Track attorney time and assist with billing using TimeSlips
Manage calendars, deadlines, and case files
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties
Assist with probate litigation matters as needed

Qualifications

Prior experience as a Probate Paralegal is required
Strong knowledge of Florida probate procedures and court filings
Experience with Florida e-filing
Experience with NetDocs and/or TimeSlips is preferred
Probate litigation experience is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small legal team
Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills

Position Details

Temporary assignment with potential to become permanent
Opportunity to train with the current paralegal before maternity leave
Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
One-hour lunch
Parking provided
Beautiful Coconut Grove office
