POSITION OVERVIEW
JOB SUMMARY:
Employee will serve as on air talent while operating various radio broadcasting equipment including control board, playback devices, etc.; use computers to access daily programming log and other documents needed for on air work, gather weather, news, programming info, read on air announcements; access public service announcements; assist in set-up and operations of sound reinforcement, recording and broadcast equipment including engineering for events (RadioLive & Webcasts) and other duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Pleasant speaking voice incorporating pleasing tone, good articulation abilities, etc.
Familiarity with audio & broadcasting equipment
Computer literate
Ability to take direction and incorporate suggestions regarding on air presentation
Dependability
Ability to multitask
