As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Detailer in San Jose, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and communications location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring team that values agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to site procedures.
• Support staff, visitors, and/or contractors with directions, entry procedures, and general assistance while maintaining awareness of site activity and following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
