Travel RN – Med-Surg / Observation

Location: Globe, Arizona
Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $62.00/hour (Based on Experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Weekly

We are seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in both Med-Surg and Observation settings. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills, experience caring for adult acute care patients, and the flexibility to participate in call coverage as needed.

• Active RN License.

• Minimum four (4) years of Medical-Surgical RN experience.

• Previous Observation Unit experience preferred.

• Strong assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.

• Current BLS Certification.

• Current ACLS Certification.

• Ability to work in both Med-Surg and Observation units.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical-Surgical patients.

• Float between Med-Surg and Observation units as needed.

• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes to the healthcare team.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

• Participate in on-call coverage and holiday schedules as required.
