TIG Welder

Are you a craftsman who treats a welding torch like a fine-art brush?  Do you take pride in fabricating products that are built to last?  If so, we want to hear from you!  Our client is seeking skilled, detail-oriented TIG welders to join their production team.  Weld assessment is required. 

• Prior TIG experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and commitment to producing visually flawless, structurally sound welds
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in environments that may be hot or noisy

Responsibilities

Candidate will perform high-quality TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum of varying thickness.  Reading and interpreting blueprints, engineered drawings to plan layout and assembly sequences.  Set up, adjust, and operate TIG welding machines (including managing gas flow, amperage, and voltage settings).  Inspect completed welds for defects, cracks, or warping, ensuring all finished products meet company standards and industry specs.  Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to company regulations and wearing appropriate PPE. 

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 39lbs
• standing for 6 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
