Travel/Local LTC Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Travel/Local LTC Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position in or near Hendricks, Minnesota. The role offers a 13-week assignment providing skilled practical nursing care in a long-term care setting. The position includes competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled practical nursing care to patients following physician orders and protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and execute individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities using EMR.
- Monitor patient health status and respond promptly to changes or emergencies during evening shifts.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent credential.
- Valid LPN license in the state of Minnesota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- CPR certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as an LPN in a healthcare setting.
- Ability to work evening shifts (8-hour shifts).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform job duties during 8-hour shifts.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with long-term care, psychiatric, or rehabilitation settings.
- Familiarity with EMR systems.
