Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. Patient ratios average 3:1 (low acuity may reach 5:1). Pediatric team nursing approach utilized. Fast-paced emergency department with 52 beds and 134 staff members.

Highlights:

• Work in a busy emergency department equipped with Alaris infusion pumps and Meditech EMR
• Collaborative team structure with dedicated charge nurse, nursing staff, technician, unit clerk, physician, and mid-level provider per pod
• Diverse case mix including IV starts, medication administration, sedations, and pediatric care
• Modern facility with emphasis on patient experience and safety protocols, including scan verification for all patients and medications
• Supportive, dynamic team environment with experienced staff in a high-volume setting
• Travel nursing assignment with potential for professional growth in a large facility environment

Requirements:

• Active Kansas RN license (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and NIH certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience or experience working in a large facility emergency department
• TNCC certification preferred
• Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred
• Experience in a 52-bed or larger emergency department highly desirable
• Strong focus on patient experience and customer service
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Quick learner with adaptability and ability to work independently
