This role will be pivotal in shaping our digital strategy, optimizing processes, and fostering innovation to enhance our competitive edge. **How You’ll Make an Impact*** Develop and execute the HVDC digital transformation roadmap aligned with Hitachi Energy’s strategic objectives.* Identify, assess, and implement innovative digital technologies (IoT, AI/ML, cloud, analytics, digital twins) to enhance product development, execution, asset management, and customer service.* Lead cross-functional teams to analyze and re-engineer HVDC business processes for greater efficiency and quality through digital enablement.* Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Operations, Sales, and IT to ensure smooth integration and adoption of digital tools and platforms.* Manage a portfolio of digital initiatives, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.* Foster a culture of digital innovation and continuous improvement through training, workshops, and best‐practice sharing.* Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and risks for HVDC digital transformation.* Define and track KPI’s to measure impact and ROI, providing regular updates to senior management and acting as a change agent across the organization.**Your background*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.* 8–10 years of experience in digital transformation, IT consulting, or technology leadership, ideally within energy, industrial, or complex engineering environments.* Strong understanding of HVDC technology, power systems, or heavy electrical infrastructure is highly desirable.* Proven success leading complex digital initiatives from strategy to full implementation and adoption.* Deep knowledge of Industrial IoT, AI/ML, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data analytics, digital twins, and automation.* Experience with agile methodologies and modern project management tools.* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels.* Strategic, analytical, and results‐driven mindset; ability to drive cultural change and innovation in large organizations; proficiency in English (Swedish is an advantage) and willingness to travel internationally.## Qualified individuals with a disability may request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access the Hitachi Energy career site as a result of your disability.
