Interventional Radiologist

Position Clinical faculty position as Medical Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor in the Duke Radiology Division of Interventional Radiology . Location The position is based at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC with duties at the Durham VA Medical Center and one or more affiliate hospitals and outpatient office‑based practice. Responsibilities Provide clinical care in a very busy clinical practice, operating in Durham, VA Medical Center and affiliate hospitals/outpatient offices. Perform a broad range of interventional procedures including all interventional oncology, hepatobiliary, portal, transplant, peripheral arterial disease, deep venous, women's, complex gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, hemodialysis, and related interventions. Participate in clinic, inpatient care and multidisciplinary conferences; collaborate with partners in transplant, hepatobiliary surgery, urology, oncology, trauma, vascular surgery and other clinical services. Assess, treat and follow patients in a multidisciplinary setting and support practice growth and innovation. Qualifications Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Interventional Radiology. Demonstrated strong track record in research, education, and clinical care. Commitment to excellence in academic interventional radiology. Flexibility, interest, and ability to perform a broad range of interventions within a busy and growing practice. Preferred Experience Specialized experience in musculoskeletal and palliative interventions. Experience in practice growth and innovation. Research and educational interests for pursuit of basic and translational research. Experience in multidisciplinary team collaboration. Research and Education Opportunities to work in the Duke Interventional Radiology Translational Research Laboratory and participate in educational activities for medical students and residents.
