Café Ambassador – Stonebriar Centre The Café Ambassador is the face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good. In this role you will move throughout the Café, bridging the gap between digital innovation and human connection, while serving as a high‑end service specialist and guide to digital banking. What You’ll Actually Do Natural Connector – Proactively engage with guests in a high‑energy environment that serves as both a community space and a local coffee shop. Brand Advocate – Share the value of Capital One’s products and services through genuine conversation, not transactions, and support the guest experience without traditional sales goals. Simplify the Complex – Guide customers through our digital ecosystem, helping them master mobile tools and troubleshoot tech challenges. Facilitate Purposeful Impact – Host and support local events that promote financial health, acting as a brand steward within Capital One’s programs and community partnerships. Advocate & Problem‑Solve – Advocate for customers, solve problems, and own issue resolution in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements, including de‑escalation of complaints. Culture Carrier – Foster an inclusive environment where every guest feels welcome, while being a team player with strong attention to detail and flexibility. Stay Agile & Engaged – Work on the move throughout the day, connecting with the community and supporting the flow of the guest experience. Essential Functions Support surrounding cafés within a 50‑mile radius, including occasional assistance at other locations. Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; adapt to business‑driven schedule adjustments. Attend required training sessions on varying schedules. Lifting up to 25 pounds and standing or moving for extended periods of time. Maintain regular attendance. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. At least 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree. 2+ years of banking experience. 2+ years of retail or customer‑facing experience.
