Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position in an Anesthesiology department

• 12-hour day shifts with start times varying between 6:30 AM, 9:30 AM, or 11:30 AM
• 3 weekend shifts per month required for full-time; 2 weekend shifts per month required for per diem
• Anesthesiologist supervises up to 3 CRNAs at one time; facility serves as a training site for residents
• Medical Direction model with Faculty in a Trauma Level 1 facility with very high acuity and complex, critically ill patients
• Providers must be comfortable managing high acuity patients, as the majority of the caseload involves very sick patients
• General cases include orthopedics, gynecology, and general surgery; no OB, pediatrics, or cardiac cases
• Must have extensive Trauma Level 2 experience to be considered; ideal candidate has worked in an academic Trauma Level 1 setting
• EMR system: Epic
• Board Certification required
• California license required and must be in hand at time of submission; EMSA not accepted
• Hospital-based practice setting
