This role is crucial for driving trucking execution, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance within the designated area. The selected candidate will develop and maintain a strategic plan for the delivery business that aligns with corporate objectives.

What Youll Do

• Manage driver performance, including annual appraisals, hiring, discipline, and training.
• Coordinate daily scheduling with the transportation department and dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and assist with required audits.
• Communicate regularly with Foreman, Estimators, and Project Managers to improve trucking efficiency.
• Manage route plans and resolve delivery access problems for internal and external drivers.
• Investigate and coordinate with the safety director regarding all driver-related property damage and industrial injury accidents.
• Assist with customer relations, addressing concerns and building strong customer-driver relationships.
• Recruit hired haulers and plan long-term trucking needs with construction and plants.

What Were Looking For

• Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and DOT regulations.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Valid drivers license and dependable transportation.
• Proficiency in computer use, including Outlook, MS Office programs, construction software, and web-based applications.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage complexity, and cultivate innovation.
