Reach Truck Operator / Warehouse AssociateA Leading Foodservice Distribution Warehouse – Auburn, WAJob type: Full-timeLocation: Auburn, WA 98001 (onsite)Pay: $20.00/hrShift and schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch, two paid 15-minute breaks); occasional overtimeFull Job DescriptionCore DutiesReceive and unload deliveries; physically inspect contents for damage or errorsCompare delivered items to packing slip, purchase order, and receiving schedule to confirm correct quantity and itemsNote damages or shortages and report to the appropriate department or supplierSort, label, organize, and move received goods to correct storage areasVerify product and packaging quality and adherence to vendor compliance policyAccurately adhere to Warehouse Labor Standard "Preferred Method Standard"Perform replenishment tasks: move merchandise from "reserve" to "pick" slotsPerform daily inspections of equipment such as forklifts, reach truck, and clampAccurately select/pick merchandise from assigned slot, confirming correct quantity and unit of measureLoad merchandise into the appropriate truckRepack loose merchandise for shipping/deliveryIdentify and report slot and put-away problemsShrink wrap merchandise/pallets after picking as neededAssist with other inventory and warehouse tasks as neededPerform general housekeeping duties as assignedRequirementsMust be able to operate a Reach Truck immediately — no training provided on this equipmentReliable transportation requiredPrior warehouse experience requiredReceiving experience a plus, not required0–3 years of general warehouse/materials handling experienceAbility to work under general supervision, reporting to a supervisor or managerEnvironmentDry warehouse environmentApproximately 85% of shift spent operating the Reach Truck; remainder split between picking, loading/unloading, and receiving
