Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocol, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and promptly.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers.
• Demonstrate leadership in managing clinical situations and making suitable assignments to other care providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred.
• Current BLS certification from AHA required.
• RN License in state of employment or compact state required.
• Ability to practice independently and handle a wide range of situations.
• Demonstrated competency consistent with the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice.
