Security Coordinator 4

Overview Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Security Coordinator 4 to join our team in Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on maintaining records and supporting personnel security functions. Roles and Responsibilities Serve as a records maintainer and data entry specialist within the Personnel Security Team. Audit and ensure accuracy of documents within PERSEC files. Enter information into government databases with a high rate of accuracy, including SIMS and Excel. Handle electronic recordkeeping and corporate archival functions. Send and receive visitor information and process badges for long‑term visitors and customers. Perform other administrative duties as required. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of security or related administrative experience. Active U.S. Government security clearance at the Top Secret level with a background investigation date within the last 6 years. Ability to obtain and maintain access to a Special Access Program (SAP). Ability to sit and/or stand throughout the day. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree. Experience working in an SAP environment. Working knowledge of the NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Demonstrated positive working relationship with internal and external customers. Working knowledge of NG and government systems such as DISS, JADE, SIMS. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tools such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Salary $58,400 - $97,400 (annual basis). Salary determined by experience, education, and market conditions. Benefits Eligible for discretionary bonuses and, for certain positions, long‑term incentives.
