Your Role at Sana Lake
Sana Lake is seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping people to recover from substance use and mental health disorders.


The purpose of the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is to diagnose and treat symptoms related to substance use withdrawal, substance use disorders, and other psychiatric disorders as part of the medical and clinical team at Sana Lake Recovery. They may also focus on health promotion and disease prevention, and may order, perform, or interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medication. The Nurse Practitioner will act as a member of the treatment team for the members served in the program.

We would love to learn more about you if:

• You are a registered nurse who has specialized graduate education for prescribing capabilities.
• You have experience working in the field of substance use and/or mental health
• You have Psych and detox experience
• You have an active MO state PMH NP License, in good standing
• Can work a rotating on-call schedule
• Can work a rotating weekend on-call and coverage schedule

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with detoxification medication dose schedules
• Pharmacology of medications and how they interact with our detox protocols
• Identification of medical emergencies and when we need to send someone out
• Experience with residential treatment, including MAT and home medication
• Collaboration with other physicians
