Job Skills / Requirements We are seeking a professional security officer to join our team at an upscale cultural center in Houston. The ideal candidate will provide a polished, welcoming presence while maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities: Maintain a visible and professional security presence. Monitor entrances, exits, public areas, galleries, event spaces, and restricted areas. Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access-control systems as assigned. Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and emergencies. Assist guests and visitors with directions and general information. Conduct routine patrols and assist with special events. Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports. Enforce facility policies and security procedures. Communicate effectively with management, staff, visitors, and emergency personnel. Maintain a clean, professional uniform and appearance. Qualifications: Previous security experience required. Experience in a cultural center, museum, upscale facility, hotel, or similar environment preferred. Valid Texas security license required. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong observation skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
