Position Details:

Location: Santa Clarita, CA
Schedule: Part-Time (under 30 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $25/hour
Setting: Onsite only
Caseload: Moderate–Severe / Extensive Support Needs / Elementary
Openings: Multiple

Key Responsibilities:

Support teachers with classroom instruction and learning activities
Provide 1:1 or small group support to students with significant needs
Assist students with mobility, including transfers from wheelchairs, braces, or other orthopedic equipment
Provide personal care support, including toileting and diapering as needed
Assist students during meals, including feeding support when necessary
Support development of adaptive, functional, and life skills
Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to meet student needs

Qualifications:

Experience working with children or individuals with moderate to severe disabilities preferred
Comfortable providing personal care support (toileting, diapering, feeding, mobility assistance)
Patient, compassionate, and dependable
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to be trained on student-specific needs and best practices
