Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic

Job Overview & Essential Functions Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Diesel Service Apprentice / Mechanic. The role performs light maintenance work under close supervision and represents the first stage of training for Service Technician status. Perform preventive maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, light electrical repairs, etc., under supervision. Assist Service Technician in heavy-duty truck repair. Attend training sessions to gain knowledge and experience. Maintain a neat and orderly work area and properly handle company tools. Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor. Safety Sensitive This position is designated as safety-sensitive. Performing the role under the influence of marijuana or any illegal drug may constitute a threat to health or safety and could lead to injury, illness, or death.
