Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cook to join our dedicated team at River View in Elgin, Illinois. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents, while maintaining a clean and safe food environment. Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, following established recipes and menu plans
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards
Manage food inventory, ordering supplies as needed, and minimizing waste
Work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient meal service and maintain a positive dining experience for residents
Collaborate with dietary staff to develop and implement special diets and menus for residents with specific needs
Demonstrate a commitment to patient care and satisfaction, ensuring that all meals are served with a focus on resident well-being
Requirements:
Knowledgeable in Food Service Sanitation, required
Food and Sanitation License required
Detail oriented
Ability to work well with others
Ability to adjust and communicate effectively with others
Ability to follow the reasonable instructions of superior
Solid work history
