The location-based entertainment (LBE) sector is worth up to $8bn and growing fast — projected at +20% over the next eight years. Modern venues combine multiple social gaming experiences with high-quality food and beverage offerings to create dynamic "themed activity" destinations.

But these businesses have a problem.

Most still run on disconnected, legacy technology stacks — siloed systems, manual workflows, and limited visibility for operators. The result is a disjointed guest experience and a mountain of untapped operational potential.

Diverted River Technology solves exactly this challenge. Through our Takoha Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS), we connect the systems that power these venues into a single, intelligent layer. Founded in 2022, we work with some of the largest brands in the LBE sector including Puttshack, Batbox, and many more ambitious businesses across the USA and globally.

Now we're going further. We're on a mission to help our clients become AI-first businesses — and we need someone to lead that charge.

The Role

As a Lead Product Manager, you will work directly with our clients to understand their existing operations, identify high-value opportunities for AI-driven improvement, and lead the delivery of solutions that fundamentally change how these businesses operate. This is a hands-on leadership role that spans discovery, solution design, and delivery — with software development and AI tooling at its core.

What You'll Do

• Client Discovery & Workflow Analysis: Embed with client teams to map existing business processes, technology stacks, and operational pain points. Identify where AI can deliver step-change improvements in efficiency, guest experience, or commercial performance.
• AI Strategy & Solution Design: Define transformation roadmaps that move clients from traditional workflows to AI-first operations. This includes AI-assisted software development, intelligent automation, predictive analytics, and AI-powered guest experiences.
• Delivery Leadership: Own the end-to-end delivery of AI initiatives — from proof of concept through to production deployment. Work closely with engineering teams to ensure solutions are built right and shipped on time.
• Change Management & Training: Guide client teams through the transition to new ways of working. Deliver training, build internal champions, and ensure adoption sticks beyond the initial rollout.

What We're Looking For

• At least 5 years' experience in product management, project management, or technical delivery leadership within a software environment
• Demonstrable hands-on experience building with AI tools and frameworks — not just talking about AI, but actively using it to transform how work gets done
• Strong understanding of modern software development practices, with a genuine passion for AI-first development methodologies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you'll be working with venue operators, not just engineers
• Comfortable working across multiple client engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced, consultancy-style environment
• Naturally curious, self-directed, and energised by the challenge of bringing emerging technology into industries that haven't caught up yet
