Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)An exciting opportunity exists for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need of urgent medical assistance.Job DetailsShift: Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)Contract Length: 13 weeksWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendFloating Requirement: Yes, travelers may float between similar units within their skill set.RTO Restrictions: Preferred RTO under 7 days.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care to patients experiencing medical emergencies.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.Effectively communicate with patients and their families regarding treatment and care options.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.Participate in continual education and training as required.Maintain accurate documentation of patient care using EPIC charting.QualificationsMinimum of 1 year of experience in the Emergency Room setting.Epic experience is preferred for all candidates.Active ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.Pending licenses are accepted; quick starts are preferred.The Emergency Department serves approximately 170 patients daily, catering to individuals of all ages. It is designated as a Level I stroke and cardiac center and a Level III trauma center, functioning effectively as a Level II facility.
