Medical Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our small clinic team, supporting a patient volume of 10-20 per day. This role involves performing both administrative and clinical duties to ensure the smooth operation of our medical facility without any travel requirements.

Responsibilities

Handle administrative duties promptly and accurately
Perform routine clinical tasks to assist medical providers
Communicate with patients, laboratories, and insurance companies for billing coordination
Draw blood and perform phlebotomy procedures
Take vital signs and escort patients to exam rooms
Maintain medical documentation and records

Required Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of healthcare experience
Phlebotomy certification and experience
Proficiency in vital signs measurement and medical terminology
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and medical billing
Strong patient communication and organizational skills
Effective time management, attention to detail, and adaptability
