You will discover a culture of teamwork, compassion, and a path for professional growth. ***$20,000 RETENTION BONUS*** Position Overview Ensures proper performance and maintenance of the Cath Lab, assesses patient needs, provides a safe surgical environment while circulating, promotes good patient care, and performs other related Cath Lab duties. Receives direction from: Cardiologists, Cath Lab Manager, Anesthesia. Flexible hours to cover all shifts and weekends as hospital needs demand, including call. Education Graduate of nursing program, required. Experience 2 years of critical care experience, required. Licenses & Certifications MTRN licensure, required. Current BLS and ACLS Certification, required. Basic Life Support Advanced Cardiac Life Sup Registered Nurse Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Possess knowledge of the theories, techniques and practices of professional nursing and coronary care nursing. Know the definitions of fundamental computer terms related to application software and desktop PC's. Know how to open, read, and respond to email. Know how to manage electronic files. Know how to print electronic documents and reports. Work in a temperature‑controlled environment. Potential for contact with chemicals, blood borne pathogens, and exposure to infectious disease. Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
