Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Respiratory Intermediate Care / Med-Surg position at a Level 1 trauma facility in Wichita, KS, with night shift hours and every other weekend requirements.

Details

• 36-bed private room unit functioning as a Respiratory Stepdown and Medical-Surgical floor
• Night shift hours: 19:00–07:30
• Every other weekend required
• EMR: Cerner
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RN license — Kansas (KS) or Compact license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA only)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• Social Security Number and US address required for consideration

Additional Information

• Located on a St. Francis campus, which is a Level 1 trauma center
• NIH Stroke Scale certification is preferred but not required
• MOAB De-Escalation Training is preferred but not required
• Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates residing within the facility's radius may be subject to a reduced pay rate
• COVID vaccination is not required
