Location: Portsmouth, NH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology RN who is passionate about providing excellent patient care in a procedural department. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team comprising 5 nurses and 5 techs, ensuring the smooth operation of 2 IR suites equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

Responsibilities:

• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patient vitals during procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to facilitate smooth operations in the Interventional Radiology unit.
• Perform and assist in a variety of interventional procedures such as EKOS, Angiograms, Trevo, Cerebral Coiling, and Biopsies.
• Document patient care and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in New Hampshire.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience in procedural departments, critical care, or emergency settings.
• Proven experience with moderate sedation.
• Preferred: Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
