Role Overview This is a client-facing role focused on comprehensive financial planning, retirement education, and relationship management. Working closely with the Wealth Advisor will help clients navigate retirement planning, investment strategies, cash flow management, risk management, and wealth preservation decisions. While this is not primarily a sales-driven role, opportunities for business development will consistently and naturally emerge through your day-to-day interactions and activities. Through our retirement plan education services, you will have opportunities to establish and strengthen relationships with clients, fostering meaningful conversations that range from retirement plan education to comprehensive, holistic financial planning. These engagements provide a platform to build trust, identify client needs, and develop long-term advisory relationships. This role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in wealth management. Through hands‑on client experience, mentorship, and structured development, you will progressively take on greater client responsibility with a defined path toward becoming a Lead Advisor. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Business, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, financial services. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Passion for financial planning and client education. Ability to build trust and develop long‑term client relationships. Preferred Experience utilizing eMoney Advisor or similar financial planning software. Experience conducting client review meetings and financial planning engagements. Knowledge of retirement planning, investment management, estate planning, and risk management strategies. Life and Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain). As you grow, you'll participate in client transition planning, deepen client relationships, contribute to firm growth initiatives, and ultimately develop into a revenue-generating advisor responsible for managing and expanding client relationships. #J-18808-Ljbffr Summit Financial
