Job Summary:
The operating room (OR) nursing position is based in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment. The role involves working in a fast-paced surgical environment, supporting a variety of specialties, and requires passing the arms in and out for robotics procedures. The position offers evening and night shift options, with a focus on experienced OR nurses.

Job Details:

• Location: Martinsburg, West Virginia
• Qualifications: BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association); 2-3 years of experience in the OR specialty; completion of 2-3 previous travel assignments; ortho experience required; experience passing the arms in and out for robotics; preferred PALS certification; EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) experience; OR techs must have BLS, with CST certification preferred; valid driver's license, willingness to wait for license approval.
• Schedule: 8 hours per shift, five days a week, primarily Sunday through Thursday, with shifts including 11:00 PM 7:30 AM, 11-11, 3-11, nights, and day shifts as needed.
• Experience: 2-3 years in the specialty and passing arms in and out for robotics required.
• Additional requirements: Outpatient surgery floating; minimal experience accepted if supporting a service line; floating necessary as needed; rotation through various shifts including weeknights, evenings, and weekends; on-call responsibilities include one weeknight per two-week period (7 PM 7 AM) and one weekend per month (24 hours, 7 AM 7 PM).
• Dress code: Scrubs provided.
• Orientation: 3 shifts/1 week.
• Submission policy: Can only submit to one position across the entire organization at a time; candidates previously employed or traveled at the facility must meet time-away requirements; background disclosures required at submission.
