Job Description:

The RN in the Tele Float Pool will work across MedSurg Tele and PCU units, including inpatient holding in ED. The role requires managing a variety of patient cases, including caring for geriatric and post-procedural patients, and working with various titratable drips.

Responsibilities:

• Care for geriatric and ortho patients, as well as post MI and post Cardiac Cath patients.
• Manage and titrate drips such as Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Insulin.
• Interpret monitor strips and work with monitor techs for patient monitoring.
• Follow specific shift and scheduling requirements including weekend and holiday rotations.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year experience in a PCU setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Must pass the dysrhythmia exam with a score of 80% within two attempts.
