Registered Nurse, RN Cardiac Cath Lab

Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription: Position Purpose Cath Lab functions independently as a member of our team of Nurses, Cardiovascular Technologists, and Interventional Cardiologists. Within our three procedure labs, the RN provides care to patients undergoing elective and emergent invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role performs a variety of tasks to ensure patient safety and comfort including patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring, pre procedure preparation and administration of conscious sedation. Minimum Qualifications Education : Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut. Preferred Skills: Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing BSN degree preferred. Experience: 1-2 years of Acute care, ICU or Cardiac Telemetry experience preferred. Work Schedule: Full Time, 40 hour/day shift - 4 10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (Rotating Schedule) This position requires On-Call - weekends/holiday rotation Ministry/Facility Information Saint Francis Hospital has been an anchor institution in Connecticut since 1897.
