As a Security Officer Access Services in Manassas, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location, where you will help manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support a professional, welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, equipment rooms, and other sensitive spaces.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Support visitor management processes by checking in guests, confirming approvals, issuing temporary access credentials, and maintaining accurate access logs and other required records.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing doors, gates, fencing, and other access control points, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
