Licensed Mental Health Therapist

Child & Adolescent Behavioral Health is looking to meet the growing demands by hiring a full-time or part-time Clinical Therapist. Job Descriptions/Duties Conduct Individual and Family Therapy sessions. Conduct Diagnostic/Comprehensive Assessments and Mental Health Consultation & Prevention. Provide services in school-based, office-based, community-based, or client home settings. Serve populations ranging from early childhood to transition-aged adolescents and young adults with a wide range of diagnoses and presenting problems. Flexibly work after school, evenings (some evenings required), and possibly Saturdays. Skills And Experience Experience or willingness to work with a variety of special populations including early childhood, traumatized and victimized children & youth, transition-aged adolescents, youth with sexual behavior problems, chronic & severely emotionally/behaviorally impaired youth. Ability to engage a wide range of clients and parents, including those from diverse populations or uncertain about the value of mental health services. Ability to collaborate effectively with other mental health professionals and external partners. Experience or willingness to apply evidence-based/evidence-informed practices as required. Training and practice experience that is trauma‑informed and familiarity with modalities such as Trauma‑focused CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, DINA, and the Incredible Years. Must be culturally competent and willing to work with diverse clients and families. Qualifications Licensed in the state of Ohio to provide assessment and therapy via the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board, or the Ohio Board of Psychology (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, MFT, IMFT, Licensed Psychologist). Must possess at least a bachelor's degree in Social Work or a master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or equivalent.
