Certified Surg Tech

The Surgical Technician works collaboratively with the OR team members. The role provides safe and appropriate patient care within the limits of their scope of practice. Completion of a Surgical Tech Program is required. A current BLS (AHA) certification is mandatory. A minimum of 2 years of surgical technician experience is necessary. Surgical technician experience of 5 or more years may be accepted in lieu of certification. One or more years of surgical tech experience is preferred. The schedule will be for day shifts, and hours may vary. The position may require floating to other units. Additional information regarding interviews and selection will be provided during the process.
