In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced technologies and help deliver high-quality products to market. Our team values technical innovation, continuous improvement, collaboration, and professional growth.THE PERSONYou have experience or interest in processor architecture, digital design, and verification. You collaborate effectively with engineers across global teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. You enjoy analyzing technical challenges, developing solutions, and continuously expanding your skills in a dynamic engineering environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Work closely with architects to define and implement IP microarchitecture featuresDevelop RTL designs for IP featuresAnalyze and optimize designs for power, performance, and areaParticipate in design specification reviews and code reviewsPerform lint, CDC, and timing analysis to support high-quality design implementationCollaborate with verification engineers to validate and debug IP throughout the project lifecyclePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience with digital logic designExperience with Verilog and/or SystemVerilogExperience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TclUnderstanding of computer architectureExperience with DDR or LPDDR memory systems is preferredExperience with EDA tools and design flows, including simulation, lint, and synthesis, is preferredExperience with digital logic verification is preferredAbility to work independently and collaboratively to deliver technical solutions.Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to analyze technical problems and develop effective solutionsACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.LOCATION:Austin, TX Boxborough, MAVancouver, BCThis role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.#LI-DP1#LI-HYBRIDBenefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee-based recruitment services.
